Hi There,

I need to access a csv carton ID (sscc #s) for each carton on the asn draft. I can currently check the box and download the csv file from shipment doc in the draft folder but it only lists the first carton ID and the last carton ID separated by a dash (column R in the csv file).

We would really like (LOVE) the asn downloadable file COLUMN R (carton id) to show ALL SSCC18 numbers separated with a dash (like now) or a comma (it displays now with max 2 cartons but anything over 2 doesn't show). This use to be a feature with our old EDI provider and a much loved feature that is dearly missed.

We had a rep last year (the most helpful Megan Brang) who was working with us see how helpful this would be for us and said she would look into something you could do - or may be able to do easily do but I never had a confirmed answer on this.

Could this be something you could alter in this csv downloadable file from the shipment draft asn?

Thank You

Kayte,

Thank you for posting!  That is a very understandable use case and while it is currently not available with the way the CSV download is set up, it does not mean it is not possible.  To be clear, you would like this feature on all ASNs going forward, and not just for one particular, correct?  I can look into viable substitutions too in the meantime.

Thank you for the post!

Yes that would be more than fantastic to be able to download. This would be so incredibly useful to us especially with the multistore POs that come in from Bed Bath and Beyond.

I am holding my breath in anticipation :)

Got it, thank you!  I will touch base with Megan to see where she left off as well as work with appropriate teams.  Look for an update from me on Monday!  Enjoy your weekend.

Greetings Kayte,

As the liaison for our product management and support teams I have checked into Megan's request and it is still on the radar of our development team for future improvements of the CSV download.  As of now the reason this has not been implemented is it would also affect all other customers CSV downloads for other connections.  We are looking into a long term solution in which it might be a preference that could be turned on or off as needed.

In the interim what I can suggest if you need the carton IDs accessible is that we could set you up with a reporting tool that would give you insight into the data that is being sent and you could extract the carton IDs alone manually.

Thanks for checking back on this great idea, please let us know if you would like to try out the reporting tool!

Very interested in the reporting tool - is this something available in webforms?

Hi Kayte,

So sorry for the slow response here, I was busy getting this tool set up.  As Erika stated, it is definitely a manual process, however it may work for the situation.  Here is a link to a video overview of the ad-hoc reporting, which will be available to you at the top of the home portal screen.  I would poke around in the tool when convenient and see if it is something that may work for you.

Unfortunately, as Erika stated, this request is still on the radar however there are ramifications with changing the download functionality. The good news is it sounds like product management is looking at new ways to "customize" download features per user in the future.

Hi Jordan, After poking around with the Ad-hoc reporting it seems to be that the documents have to be transmitted before I can see any information using this tool - which is too late as I need the information far before the ASN is to be sent. Can you confirm this is true?
