Received email from Amazon and wanted to confirm changes would be updated in Webforms/maps. Also, can you tell me what we are receiving in OUR Amazon 850s in the BEG02 segment? I'm guessing we get DS.
Dear Direct Fulfillment EDI X12 Vendors:
In an effort to improve fulfillment efficiency and reduce your costs, we are making three updates to our packing slip requirements as follows.
• You are no longer required to print packing slips for most orders. Do not print packing slips for orders with a DS value in the BEG02 segment of the OF/850.
• Continue to print packing slips for orders shipped to commercial addresses. You are required to print packing slips for orders with a SS value in the BEG02 segment of the OF/850. As always, continue to include prices on packing slips for orders shipped to commercial addresses.
• Continue to print packing slips for gift orders. You are required to print packing slips for orders with a ZZ value in the BEG02 segment of the OF/850. As always, do not print prices on packing slips for gift orders.
SS = Commercial Orders
DS = Default (Drop Ship)
ZZ = Gift Orders
You are no longer required to print customer billing addresses on any packing slips. The billing address is included in N1-LW loop.
Please update your maps to reflect these changes. Please also update your order management process to only print packing slips for gift orders and orders shipped to commercial addresses.
Please make these changes no later than April 29th 2016. Please find the updated specifications and examples at the below link.
Packing Slip Change Documents- Please refer to the documents under section -"EDI 850 Example Documents and EDI X12 850 specification"
