When using the Accept document action, the process stalls. The window pops up declaring it is processing 1 of #, but the bar never progresses. It fails like this in all browsers and when the action is being performed on only one order or on many at the same time.

Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Support Center!

Accepting a document in WebForms is actually the same action as marking it as read.  It does not preform any other actions on the document.  It's possible that there is something in the system that has hiccuped and is not allowing you to use that function to mark them all as read.

If your goal is to mark them as read, and you would like to do that for multiple documents at once, try using that action from the dropdown menu and that should be successful.

If your goal is to send a message to the trading partner that the document is accepted, accepting the document through that action is not how that would be done.  There is two forms of acceptance when talking about EDI data.  The first is simply that the document was accepted into the trading partner's system and they now own the document and any actions the document needs you to take.  We automatically send back these receipts for every document that comes into the system and you will not have to do this manually.  This is an automated process.

The second way to accept a document is to send an actual PO Acknowledgment document back to them.  You do this by creating the new document from the PO off of next steps.  If you go to next steps and you see that a PO Acknowledgment is not available, you most likely do not need to send one to the trading partner. If you are unsure and would like to check.  You can reach out to your trading partner and ask if they require a PO Acknowledgment (this is also known as an 855 document) sent back to them.  If they say yes, and you can not create that off of next step, please call our support team and we can assist.  If they say no, then you do not have to send that document.

Let me know if you have any further questions,
Thank you,
