Hi Sweta!

Thanks for your post -- glad to see you on the Support Center. The First Container ID and Last Container ID are fields on the Advance Ship Notice used only for instances when you need to enter your own Container IDs for the Shipping Labels from the Advance Ship Notice.

What it sounds like might have happened is you put a check-mark in the "Using Own Label Numbers?" check-box on the first tab of the Advance Ship Notice. You should only put a check-mark in that check-box if you are going to be generating your own Container ID numbers for the shipping labels.

If you do not intend to generate your own Container ID numbers for the labels from the Advance Ship Notice, you will want to close the Advance Ship Notice you have open, and create a new Advance Ship Notice from the original Purchase Order -- if you leave the "Using Own Label Numbers?" check-box empty, the Advance Ship Notice will automatically generate Container IDs onto your Shipping Labels for you.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions. If so, please provide the reference Purchase Order from which you are working. Thanks!
